Job Description
Act as a single point of contact for the client on the implementation program
Accountable for the overall program delivery, ensuring realization of the business strategy and achievement of desired business results (strategy & planning, execution, client/ stakeholder and team management, risk & issue management)
Integrate planning, status reporting and coordinating all program activities
Resolve scope, resource, budget and schedule conflicts
Manage key stakeholders, ensure that the Client, Program Sponsor and Steering Committee are provided with regular updates, tracking issues to be resolved and maintaining the budget and resources of the Program Delivery Organisation
Responsible for the designing, agreeing and implementing of the overall governance structure for the program both internally and with the client and other third party providers
Ensure that workstreams within the program have clearly defined scope and direction
Ensure that tasks and time deadlines are adhered to by the workstream leaders
Actively supports workstream leaders on project planning and delivery, ensuring plans are consistent and provided on a timely basis
Responsible to solve challenges that interfere with progress, managing escalated risks and issues from the workstreams
Request quality assurance reviews as needed based upon project risks
Requirements
8+ years project related work experience
Minimum of 5 years’ experience leading major Programs/Projects in a complex, global corporate setting
Project Management and SDLC lifecycle experience, waterfall and agile methodologies
Program management consultancy experience is a plus
Project Management certification is preferred
Must be a self-starter, motivated individual who works well under pressure
Ability to multi-task, prioritize and coordinate tasks to meet multiple deadlines
Ability to drive collaboration with executives, operational, technical and product teams to achieve effective solutions
Outgoing and comfortable building cross-functional relationships
Effective communication skills with all levels of management
Flexible and resilient, comfortable with ambiguity, adaptable to a high-change environment and open to new concepts and/or processes
Conflict resolution and negotiations skills to resolve disagreements quickly and effectively, bringing a problem-solving attitude to conflicting approaches and priorities involving others
