    Responsibilities:

     

    • Ensure that the Group is in compliance with external rules and regulations and internal policies and procedures;
    • Develop relevant compliance policies, procedures and control framework on distribution channels for ensuring compliance with applicable laws, regulations and rules;
    • Work with the relevant parties to analyze the potential impact of regulatory trends and developments to ensure compliance with any new regulatory changes with respect to the businesses;
    • Oversee and give advice on investigation of misconduct/complaint cases against intermediaries and ensure a robust disciplinary framework established and maintained, including disciplinary actions have been followed up and completed; 
    • Ensure all distribution channels (including agencies, IFAs) are kept abreast of updated regulatory requirements and rules as well as internal policies and guidelines and keep other departments abreast of compliance requirements;
    • Conduct compliance testing/compliance review on compliance controls and procedures to obtain compliance assurance over agencies’/distributors’ activities and practices, especially for high risk areas;
    • Plan and develop/arrange compliance training and manual to agents/distributors for ensuring they are equipped with sufficient compliance knowledge and awareness;
    • Liaise with the local regulators on compliance matters relating to the businesses;
    • Supervise the work of the compliance officers.

     

    職位要求

    Requirements:

     

    • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Law or Business;
    • Minimum ten years of relevant experience with focused on compliance, risk management, legal and/or internal controls, preferably in insurance industry;
    • Professional qualification in life insurance, Compliance, Internal Audit or related disciplines is preferred;
    • In-depth understanding of insurance business is preferred;
    • Strong analytical, interpersonal and communication skills and self-motivated;
    • Good written and spoken communication skills in English and Chinese;
    • Independent and be able to work under pressure;
    • Strong organization skill, strategic and pragmatic mindset.;
    • High level of integrity and take ownership and accountability of results.
