Responsibilities:

• Incumbents work with large and complex data sets (both internal and external data) to evaluate, recommend, and support the implementation of business strategies
• Identifies and compiles data sets using a variety of tools (e.g. SQL, Python, VBA, Access) to help predict, improve, and measure the success of key business to business outcomes
• Responsible for handling routine data extraction and management reporting to support the day-to-day business operation across all banking product
• Drive automation across various platform / application using Python / RPA / equivalent tools to increase the team productivity/efficiency.
• Ability to research and assess open source technologies and components to recommend and integrate into the design and implementation
• Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding the bank, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency.

Qualifications:

• 1-5 years relevant experience
• Proficiency in SAS or SQL, hand-on experience on using SAS to conduct data analysis and prepare business reporting
• Experienced in working with large and multiple datasets, data warehouses and ability to pull data using relevant programs and coding.
• Strong analytic ability, quantitative skills and problem solving abilities
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, be organized, detail oriented, and adaptive to matrix work environment
• Proactive, self-motivate and can-do attitude
• Knowledge of data management, data governance, data security and regulatory practices is a plus
• Knowledge of agile(scrum) development methodology is a plus
