Job Description
Responsibilities
Define and refine the user experience of the Virtual Bank product
Gather and evaluate user requirements in collaboration with Product and Tech Team to create customer-centric solutions
Illustrate design ideas using storyboards, process flows and sitemaps
Rapidly ideate and validate designs through sketches, prototypes, and testing
Develop UI mockups and prototypes that clearly illustrate the products functions
Solicit feedback early and often from your peers, including other product designers and teammates
Create and manage the Virtual Bank’s design system and advocate for scalable design solutions
Design graphic user interface elements, like menus, tabs and widgets
Create original graphic designs (e.g. images, sketches and tables)
Optimize existing UI designs
Requirements
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in design, industrial design or related field from a reputable institution
Minimum 5 years of professional experience in designing digital products, websites and mobile apps
Successful track record of in UIUX or in a similar role
Experience in turning complex problems and into simple and engaging customer experiences
Understanding of user experience, information architecture, interaction design and visual design
Experience in wireframing and prototyping tools (e.g. Invision, Flinto, Sketch)
Ability to interpret business needs and develop design concepts
Ability to articulate design choices and build consensus within the team. Have contributed as a leader in design and a strong collaborator with product managers and engineers
Experience working in an agile environment, using HTML & CSS frameworks, and user research is an advantage
Fluency in English and either Mandarin or Cantonese with excellent written and verbal communication skills
