Responsibilities

• Define and refine the user experience of the Virtual Bank product
• Gather and evaluate user requirements in collaboration with Product and Tech Team to create customer-centric solutions
• Illustrate design ideas using storyboards, process flows and sitemaps
• Rapidly ideate and validate designs through sketches, prototypes, and testing
• Develop UI mockups and prototypes that clearly illustrate the products functions
• Solicit feedback early and often from your peers, including other product designers and teammates
• Create and manage the Virtual Bank’s design system and advocate for scalable design solutions
• Design graphic user interface elements, like menus, tabs and widgets
• Create original graphic designs (e.g. images, sketches and tables)
• Optimize existing UI designs

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in design, industrial design or related field from a reputable institution
• Minimum 5 years of professional experience in designing digital products, websites and mobile apps
• Successful track record of in UIUX or in a similar role
• Experience in turning complex problems and into simple and engaging customer experiences
• Understanding of user experience, information architecture, interaction design and visual design
• Experience in wireframing and prototyping tools (e.g. Invision, Flinto, Sketch)
• Ability to interpret business needs and develop design concepts
• Ability to articulate design choices and build consensus within the team. Have contributed as a leader in design and a strong collaborator with product managers and engineers
• Experience working in an agile environment, using HTML & CSS frameworks, and user research is an advantage
• Fluency in English and either Mandarin or Cantonese with excellent written and verbal communication skills
