    Responsibilities

     

    • Apply strategic thinking to deliver end-to-end user experience solutions with a focus on user needs and business goals and be directly responsible for delivering all aspects of design, from defining customer needs to development.
    • Design end-to-end experiences using participatory and iterative design techniques, including observational studies, customer interviews, usability testing, and other forms of qualitative and quantitative research to uncover insights, learn about user behavior and verify design concepts.
    • Turn visions into concepts and translate those concepts into designs that illustrate simplicity despite system complexity. Utilize industry design standards and best practices to define and implement design criteria, design guidelines, and design specs.
    • Ensure UI and visual design communicates clearly, is on brand, and delights users
      Produce user requirements specifications, personas, storyboards, scenarios, user flow diagrams, wireframes, design prototypes, and design specifications.
    • Contribute to the definition and creation of flexible, coherent design systems and component libraries.
    • Work closely with other teams to plan and manage the design process, drive decisions, prioritize tasks, track design issues and ensure that design specifications are implemented.
    • Effectively communicate research findings, conceptual ideas, detailed design, and design rationale both verbally and visually.
    • Maintain a view of emerging industry developments / trends on digital services to ensure the future strategy for the product developments are aligned with evolving developments.
    • Collaborate and share knowledge with other team members and stakeholders
      Improving user interaction and interface within an Accessibility framework.
    • Management of interaction with digital agencies.
    • Promoting user centered design principles and best practices within banking


    Requirements

    Qualifications

     

    • 5+ years of experience in UI UX Design.
    • Ability to understand detailed complex requirements to design elegant solutions for complicated processes.
    • Ability to clearly and effectively communicate ideas and solutions to stakeholders.
    • Be open to receiving feedback and constructive criticism.
    • Be passionate about all things UI UX and other areas of design and innovation.
    • Proficient in UI UX design with a strong understanding of user centered design process, and keen eye for branding, visual design, typography and user interface design.
    • Strong experience across desktop & native mobile app design.
    • Proficiency in UI UX Software (Axure, Sketch & InVision) and UX methodologies (Double Diamond Framework, Customer Journey Mapping, Personas, Competitive Analysis, Brainstorming, Storyboarding, Wireframing, User Flows, Task Analysis, Prototyping etc.)
    • Strong knowledge of User Research techniques and usability testing.
    • Experience working in an agile/scrum.
    • Ability to work within a Design System and propose various concepts within given constraints.
    • Good relationship management skills to satisfy a wider range of internal and external customers with conflicting priorities.
    • Experience of coaching, motivating and inspiring others to excel.
    • Strong online portfolio available for viewing.
    • Previous experience in the financial sector preferable but not a must
