    • Job Description

    • Leading the Retail bank exit project for Compliance Regulations Management in 13 jurisdictions in APAC and EMEA
    • Countries include Australia, China, Taiwan, Korea, Indonesia, Philippines, Vietnam, Malaysia, Thailand, India, Bahrain, Poland, and Russia.
    • The Project is in progress, with countries are at different stage of the Project
    • Formulate the Project plan with Regulations Applicability in different stage of the sale i.e. Legal Day One, during Transition period, and post sale with actionable items and timeline
    • Communicate clearly the objective, required actions, timeline with the country teams
    • Liaising closely with the Country Compliance teams as well as the Regional project team
    • Manage the project delivery throughout the process
    • Conduct governance, reporting, analytics, escalation to senior members in the bank of the project status
    • Preparation of materials for key governance forums and in some cases, presenting data to senior stakeholders
    • Reviewing and validating reports provided for the project

    Requirements

    • Bachelor’s degree in Legal, Business Management or related discipline
    • Experience and expert in compliance or other risk, control-related function in the financial services firm, regulatory organization, or legal/consulting firm, or a combination thereof; previous experience managing staff, strong working knowledge of function/business/product supported and the related operations and financial requirements.
    • Capable to conduct analysis of laws, rules, Regulations, conduct interpretation and understand potential applicability to financial services’ entities
    • Understanding of control and compliance risk management
    • Advanced Analytical skill and result driven
    • Ability to articulate complex problems and solutions through concise and clear messaging
    • Fluent in English, Cantonese and Mandarin or any other basic languages is preferred 
    • Proficient in MS Office applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
